Since the mid-term break, Primary Bible classes (Grades 2–6) have gone into detective mode! Each lesson has used a fun spy theme to encourage students to investigate clues, gather evidence, and solve the mystery: The Case for Christ.
This term, Christian ministry workers Ms Daniella and Mr Jonathan from CEF, together with Ms Carly, have been teaching lessons based on Lee Strobel's book The Case for Christ. The aim is to help students thoughtfully examine the evidence for themselves and discover who Jesus is and why He came.
So far, students have investigated a range of clues, including Old Testament prophecies about Jesus, what others said about Him, what Jesus said about Himself, and other evidence that points to Him as the Christ—the promised Messiah.
We encourage parents to read The Case for Christ by Lee Strobel, a former investigative journalist. This bestselling book, later adapted into a feature film, offers an engaging search into the case of Jesus Christ.
