Occupational Therapist (Independent contractor)
Rebecca (she/her) is an AHPRA-registered Occupational Therapist working with children (10+), adolescents and adults with mental health needs. She has experience across inpatient and community mental health settings in the public system and has completed additional counselling training to support people with substance use challenges and behaviour change.
Her practice draws on DBT-informed and sensory approaches, including sensory profiling, sensory diets, and interoceptive work. Guided by her lived experience of mental health and chronic illness, Rebecca aims to work collaboratively and compassionately, supporting clients to feel heard, empowered, and able to work toward their goals at their own pace.
Outside of work, Rebecca enjoys cooking, spending time outdoors with her partner and senior dog Kurt, watching nature documentaries, and experimenting with her hair colour. She is currently completing a Master of Brain and Mind Science at the University of Sydney, with plans to pursue further research in sensory modulation.
