If we bring up an issue, whether it be regarding repeated tardiness, attitude/character issues, ethical concerns, or feedback from clients, (this list is not exhaustive), we will first approach the situation with verbal feedback to discuss the issue. We will notate that a conversation has happened, what it regarded, along with the date of conversation. If the same or similar incident is repeated, we will verbally address it again, problem solve, or come up with a solution on how to correct the concern and issue a written warning. After 3 warnings, we will consider termination of employment.
As a massage therapist, if you no-call, no-show to your shift then you will owe the company for the entirety of appointments that are missed. For example, if you have a 60 minute appointment on the books, you owe the company $90 for the missed appointment. If you have 2 60-minute appointments on the books and you missed your shift, you will owe the company $180 for the lost business. It will be deducted from your following paycheck.
Absenteeism / Tardiness: If we see this regularly, we will talk to the therapist to see what needs to change. Reliability is critical for our business. We will see if we need to reevaluate your schedule and put you on probation.
