Workforce,Integration, Stability&Economic-Empowerment (WISE)
The WISE Initiative exists because opportunity alone is not enough.
Individuals and families often face barriers that make it difficult to sustain employment, remain engaged in services, and achieve long-term stability. Transportation challenges, limited access to technology, unstable communication, lack of information, and disconnected systems can turn manageable setbacks into major crises.
WISE was created to close those gaps. Through strategic partnerships, coordinated services, and practical support, the WISE Initiative helps individuals and families move from instability to opportunity, and from opportunity to long-term success.
The WISE Initiative strengthens individuals, families, and communities by connecting people to workforce opportunities, supportive services, digital access, and pathways to economic mobility.
We believe that lasting success occurs when people have:
Access to opportunity
Reliable support systems
Strong community connections
Practical tools for success
The ability to participate fully in today's digital economy
Workforce: Connecting individuals to employment, education, training, entrepreneurship, and long-term career pathways.
Integration: Helping people navigate systems and connect to the resources, relationships, and supports necessary for success.
Stability: Addressing barriers that threaten employment retention, family well-being, and personal growth.
Empowerment: Building confidence, self-sufficiency, and the capacity to create lasting change.
Stability Creates Opportunity. Opportunity Creates Mobility.
Our work focuses on the core pillars that determine whether individuals and families thrive:
Employment navigation & resume support
Career pathways & skills development
Workforce retention support
Communication access & technology support
Device connectivity & digital literacy
Resource navigation
Benefits navigation
Community resource connections
Transportation solutions & supportive services coordination
Workforce continuity & stabilization planning
Peer support & community integration
Behavioral health referrals

Too often, individuals lose opportunities not because they lack ability, but because they lack access.
A missed phone call can cost someone a job.
A missed appointment can delay treatment.
Lack of internet access can prevent someone from applying for benefits, completing training, or staying connected to support systems.
The digital divide and service fragmentation continue to create inequities that disproportionately affect low-income individuals, justice-involved populations, veterans, and families experiencing instability. WISE works to eliminate those barriers.
