Re-entry is Recovery
Life Launch,Inc. understands re-entry as more than coming home. Re-entry is the process of rebuilding identity, restoring stability, repairing relationships, learning new responses, staying connected, and choosing a different path one decision at a time.
Recovery is not limited to substance use. People recover from incarceration, violence, trauma, loss, shame, instability, medical conditions, heartbreak and more.
Use 988 if you are in crisis, thinking about harming yourself, worried about someone else, or need immediate emotional crisis support.
AliveRVA Peer Recovery Warm Line
Call: 1-833-4PEERVA
AliveRVA is a peer recovery warm line focused on substance use recovery. Its staff are people with lived experience with substance use, and the purpose is to listen, encourage, and support people in long-term recovery.
Call or Text: 866-400-6428
This is a statewide peer-run warm line for Virginia residents. It offers call, text, and chat support for individuals, family members, and others who want someone to talk to, need mental health resources, or have recovery questions. It is not a crisis hotline. Mental Health Virginia states that peers are not licensed professionals, medical providers, or legal advisers.
Sometimes people need support before things become a crisis.
Peer support gives participants a chance to talk with someone who has lived experience, understands recovery, and can listen without judgment. A warm line is not a crisis hotline. It is a support line for people who need connection, encouragement, recovery support, or help thinking through next steps.
For people returning home, living under probation supervision, rebuilding after substance use, or trying to stay stable while looking for work, peer support can help reduce isolation and keep momentum going.
Peer support may help with:
Stress before it becomes a crisis

Substance use concerns
Mental health concerns
