Outputs

NewAgroNet will develop 6 main outputs:

  • Initial assessment, methodology and case studies for New Farmers. This initial analysis will allow us to better comprehend the current situation that affects the agrarian entrepreneurs. This will also be accompanied by a methodology for the creation of new agrarian businesses, that will also introduce best practices and success cases in every country involved. By this way, we will be able to create training materials really focused on the needs of the future entrepreneurs into farming, today students.

  • A training manual on new digital tools. A manual will be developed aimed at providing teachers and students with innovative and at hand tools and methodology to use during the lessons at schools. These tools will be structured on daily use equipment (such as online presentations, video on computer or smartphone etc.), with an easy-to-use approach, and on free software that will guarantee the transfer of competencies to students in a very innovative and involving and motivating methodology.

  • 5-days training session for VET Teachers. This training session for teachers will focus on the Methodology for New farmers and the Manual of Digital tools.

  • Training units for students. The trained teachers will develop specific training materials to transfer the knowledge acquired to the students, based on the training digital tools manuals and benchmarking.

  • Development projects about new farmers carried out by students. After the training, the students will work in groups to develop a business idea (replicable, sustainable, feasible, transnational), using the tools provided by NewAgriNet. Each business idea will be developed by international teams, made up of students from each country involved working together.

        • 8 international teams. In each of them, there will be 2 students from each country. So, 8 teams with 8 students by team, we will have 64 students involved (16 in each country)

  • Blended mobility for two weeks for the winning project. Each business ideas will be evaluated by entrepreneurships and start-ups experts that will act as jury for assessing the feasibility, relevance and sustainability of business ideas and to award the best project. The two winning international team will be awarded with two-weeks blended mobility in two countries (one week in each country, from Monday to Friday). In period, the winning teams will get together so as to visit selected success cases and to finalize the project, with the support of host teachers.
