The population dedicated to agriculture has decreased by 25% in 8 years throughout Europe. More than 30% of that population is over 65 and less than 0.5% are young people under 25. The replacement rate is at a critical level. The Focus Group: New Entrants into Farming of EIP AGRI has detected barriers to entry new agricultural entrepreneurs. (see more)

NewAgriNet will develop 6 main outputs:

• Initial assessment, methodology and case studies for New Farmers. This initial analysis will allow us to better comprehend the current situation that affects the agrarian entrepreneurs. This will also be accompanied by a methodology...(see more)

• A Methodology for the creation of New agrarian businesses, based on an initial analysis of access to agriculture and success cases.

• Training session for teacher on the methodology...(see more)

• At individual level: 8-12 teachers (2-3 by country) will get insight on new ways and innovative instruments to be sued for their lessons in order to involve students in a different and more engaging way. (see more)
