Hortus Literarius is an inspiring Erasmus+ project between Murcia and Naples. It is the garden where Literature and botany finally meet. IES Miguel de Cervantes and Liceo Niccolò Braucci link endemic plants to iconic authors. These symbolic species are then planted in a physical "hortus" at each school. This creative approach promotes environmental Sustainability and nature conservation. It fosters a meaningful Cultural exchange through shared Mediterranean heritage.
Aligned with the Digital Education Action Plan (2021-2027), the project enhances students' digital literacy and critical thinking, equipping them with the essential competencies to navigate an AI-driven society and a democratic future.
Students explore classic texts while cultivating a living, green library and digital tools. The project strengthens European identity by blending arts with environmental science. Participants from Spain and Italy collaborate on eco-friendly urban solutions. Together, they grow a lasting legacy of poetry, science, and mutual respect.
