Lisa Hill is in her 34th year of teaching, in her seventh year of being a part of Liberty Hill ISD, and her fifth year at Santa Rita MS. She will be teaching the honors band, beginner flute, oboe, bassoon, clarinet, and French horn classes.
Before coming to Liberty Hill ISD, Mrs. Hill spent 21 years at Georgetown ISD. Bands under the direction of Lisa Hill have earned consistent UIL Sweepstakes Awards and “Best in Class” awards at various music festivals throughout the state of Texas. Mrs. Hill holds a Bachelor of Music Education degree from the University of Houston. Her professional affiliations are the Texas Music Educators Association and the Texas Bandmasters Association.
In her free time, she enjoys reading, spending time with family and friends, and playing with her two dogs, Bella and Parker.
Mrs. Hill is super excited that the SRMS Stallion Band will be a part of the growth of the Legacy Ranch High School Wrangler Band program!

Mr. Perrin graduated from Rocky Hill High School in 1991. Attended Texas Tech University where he received his Bachelor’s Degree in Music Education. He began his teaching career in Lubbock Independent School District as Head Director of Bands at O.L. Slaton Junior High. After spending two years in Lubbock, he was selected as the Assistant Band Director at Liberty Hill Junior High. In 2009 Mr. Perrin was given the opportunity to become the Director of Bands for Liberty Hill Independent School District. In 2017 Mr. Perrin was selected as the Fine Arts Coordinator for Liberty Hill ISD. After 12 years as Director of Band, Mr. Perrin has decided to focus on the beginning and middle school aspects of teaching and spend more time with his family. He is a director at Santa Rita Middle School.
Mr. Perrin was married to his wife, Shirley, in 2004. They have three beautiful girls Amelia, Hannah, and Charlotte.
Mr. Perrin is active in St. John’s United Methodist Church in Austin. He enjoys spending his free time with his family, playing golf, and grilling out on his back deck.
Mr. Perrin is an active member of TMEA and ATSSB. He has judged Area Marching competitions, solo and ensemble competitions, and was invited to Judge the El Paso Independent School District Junior High Concert and Sight Reading Contest.
Mr. Dempsey is the Director of Percussion at Legacy Ranch and Santa Rita Middle School. He comes to us from Hutto ISD where he has served as the Director of Percussion for the last 7 years. He has over 20 years of experience in Drum Corps International (DCI), the last 7 as a DCI adjudicator, and has been teaching percussion at the collegiate and high school level for over 30 years.
He is published by TapSpace Publications and also has music on the Texas Prescribed Music List (PML). He is also a Percussive Arts Society National Snare Drum Champion. He has taken percussion ensembles to the Midwest International Band and Orchestra Clinic in Chicago twice, and has won the Percussive Arts Society International Convention High School Percussion Ensemble Competition.
He is a graduate of San Jose State University where he studied with Anthony J. Cirone of the San Francisco Symphony. Mr. Dempsey is endorsed by Innovative Percussion and Evans Drumheads.
He and his wife love traveling and enjoy spending time with their dog Lincoln, 5 cats, and 2 dwarf goats. Tyler is an avid golfer and a member of Georgetown Country Club.
