All About Ms. Pleak

Welcome! I am Wendy Pleak and so happy to a part of the wonderful LHISD schools and family! I attended Southwest Texas State University (Texas State) with a degree in Elementary Education, a minor in Early Childhood. This will be my 22nd year of teaching and during that time I taught Kindergarten for 11 years at North East ISD in San Antonio, then moved my family back to Liberty Hill where I was raised and graduated from. I taught 2nd grade for 5 years; 4 at Burden and 1 at Rancho. 5 years ago I was blessed to become the Gifted and Talented Campus Coordinator and GT Teacher for Rancho, Burden, and Santa Rita throughout the years.  This year I am  excited to take on my 6th year in GT at the Rancho Campus along with supporting both Santa Rita Middle, Liberty Hill Middle and LHHS! It is a dream job that I have always been interested in.  I love spending my days inspiring, creating, and connecting  with these amazing children and I promise you, I learn more from them they than learn from me!

I have 2 amazing kids. My son, Dyce, is in the 7th grade at Santa Rita Middle. My daughter, Dyllan, is in the 2nd grade this year at Rancho. I am blessed to be the mom of these two who keep me busy and keep me young! 

In my spare time I love to listen to live music and attend concerts, have a good laugh with friends, eat at fun restaurants, enjoy traveling to new places, and spending time with my kids. I also love football season and am looking forward to watching my son play at SRMS and we love to cheer on our Panthers and my Longhorns! Hook 'em!!!
