Amanda Carpenter

My name is Amanda Carpenter, and I have been a teacher for 23 years. I graduated from Baylor University with a degree in Business Administration and Education. I have been married to my college sweetheart, Brian, for 27 years, and we have 2 children, Makenzie and Seth. Makenzie plays college softball at The University of Texas San Antonio, and my son plays football for the University of Mary Hardin Baylor. I have taught every level of English, and I am currently the department chair of our English Department. After coaching for 18 years, I am also the Fellowship of Christian Athletes sponsor with Coach Peterson. Every student that has ever graced the door of my classroom will always be "my kid."
