Private Lesson Program Overview:

Liberty Hill ISD Fine Arts is proud to collaborate with professional instrumental instructors from around the Austin metro area to provide individualized instruction for students participating in band. Private lessons can contribute greatly to every student’s musical growth and to the success of the school’s music program as well. 

Students participating in private lessons gain personalized instruction directed specifically at their performance technique. Special attention is also given to additional musical opportunities available beyond the regular classroom curriculum including preparing for solos, ensembles, regional, and state competitions. Band students are strongly encouraged to participate in the Private Lesson Program. 

Upon completion of the Private Lesson Interest Form (see below), students will be assigned a private instructor. From this point on, students and parents will discuss all aspects of private lessons directly with the instructor. Lessons will occur weekly, on an assigned day which depends upon the availability of the instructor. 

Financial Considerations:

• Lesson rates are determined by the instructor, and vary depending on the level of experience and education of the instructor as well as the length of the lesson

• All payments for lessons are to be paid directly from the student/parent to the instructor

• Payment schedules and policies will be set by the instructors

• LH Band Boosters offer need-based scholarships!
