Private Lesson Program Overview:

The BEST thing you can do to invest in your child as they learn an instrument is to enroll them in private lessons! 

Liberty Hill MS is incredibly fortunate to have a world-class private lesson faculty and program! We strongly recommend band students register for private lessons to help propel them forward in their growth as a musician. They offer one-on-one time with a specialist on their instrument and are worth every penny.  Lessons are held before school, during their band class, and/or after school depending on the teacher's availability.  Private lessons are NOT tutorials or remediation. They are enrichment that will allow your student to get the most out of their band experience.

Band students are strongly encouraged to participate in the Liberty Hill Private Lesson Program.  Lessons are NOT tutorials, but a way for ALL students to maximize their individual potential! 

Upon completion of the Private Lesson Interest Form (see below), students will be assigned a private instructor. From this point on, students and parents will discuss all aspects of private lessons directly with the instructor. Lessons will occur weekly, on an assigned day which depends upon the availability of the instructor. 

Financial Considerations:

• Lesson rates are determined by the instructor, and vary depending on the level of experience and education of the instructor as well as the length of the lesson

• All payments for lessons are to be paid directly from the student/parent to the instructor

• Payment schedules and policies will be set by the instructors

• LH Band Boosters offer need-based scholarships!
