Students wanting to tryout for the All-Stars or Dance 3, will tryout at the end of their 6th or 7th grade year to be placed in a class for the next school year. Candidates will learn a routine and across the floor technique to perform for a panel of judges. Below are the requirements and the rough timeline for tryouts:

Requirements:

• Attends an Interest Meeting (full information and tryout packets will be given at this meeting)

• Passing all classes with a 70 or above

• Teacher recommendations

• Successfully taken either 6th grade, Dance 2, or Dance 3

• Attend all mandatory Clinic days

• Attend Tryout day

Timeline:

• Student/Parent meeting- end of February

• Tryout clinic- end of March, multiple days after school

• Tryout- the Friday at the end of clinic days

• All-Stars New Team Meeting- the week following tryouts
