Every Fall, our students have the opportunity to participate in the Texas Music Educators' Association All-State Choir Auditions. This is an individual singing contest for which students learn assigned choral music and perform it for a panel of judges to earn a spot in the All-Region and/or All-State Choir. These groups are comprised of top scoring singers from around the region and state, and they put on performances with renowned choral conductors.

Starting in the 2026/2027 academic year, LRHS will be re-classified as a 5A school, meaning that we will now participate in the Large School auditions. In order to help your student prepare, consider signing up for a choir camp to help you learn the music over the summer! Once the music is released in May, Ms. O'Malley will hand out the music to any interested students who wish to get a head start over the summer.
