Kayla O'Malley was born and raised in New Jersey and moved to Fort Worth, Texas in 2012 where she started singing in her high school choir. Having quickly fallen in love with singing, she performed with multiple choirs, which fostered a love of music and led her to attend Sam Houston State University (SHSU) where she earned a Bachelor of Music Degree, and later earned a Master of Music Degree from the University of North Texas in 2025.Â
Prior to coming to Legacy Ranch, O'Malley served as the Associate Choir Director at Leander High School where her choirs consistently earned Sweepstakes at UIL. Outside of school, O'Malley has sung with the Conspirare Artist Citizenship Choral Collective, Hill Country Cantibus, and holds professional associations with the Texas Music Educators Association, Texas Choral Director's Association, and Sigma Alpha Iota. O'Malley is thrilled to join the LRHS family, and can't wait to start making music with the Wrangler Singers!
