Students in LHISD have rich opportunities to connect even when school is closed. The LHISD Learning from Home website provides grade-appropriate opportunities to review, extend, and enrich learning while we're away from the classroom. The Texas Education Agency provides direction for all Texas school districts on what instructional continuity during the COVID-19 pandemic should consist of for students. Liberty Hill ISD staff then created a learning at-home platform and guidelines to provide families with the necessary resources to promote a learning from home model that is responsive to our students and community. Our staff are committed to continuing the education and learning for our students and supporting our parents during this challenging time. We appreciate your support, patience, and partnership during this time.

Students and families have three available access options to participate in the Learning from Home:

Paper Versions of Instructional Packets

Students/parents may pick up instructional paper lesson packets for English language arts, math, science, and social studies by grade levels at LHISD central office M-F from 9-12.

For students who are unable to pick up paper lesson packets, please email your campus principal and we will mail the packet to the student/parent.

PDF Versions of Instructional Packets

Students and families may download a PDF version of the instructional lesson packets by grade level/content from the Learning from Home website.

PDF lessons are available for English language arts, math, science, and social studies. They are organized by subject and grade level.

Google Classroom/SeeSaw/Email

Access to Google Classroom is available for teachers and students. Many of our LHISD teachers utilize Google Classroom or SeeSaw to post lessons. The lessons posted in Google Classroom/SeeSaw are the same lessons on the Learning from Home website. Since students/families may be familiar with accessing Google Classroom/SeeSaw, teachers are posting the same information on their Google Classroom/SeeSaw as found on the Learning from Home website.

Students and Families

  • More information and training on Google Classroom and SeeSaw is also available for students and families in the Online Resource Tutorials.
