How You Can Help

Our regular week brings a new topic every Monday with a test on Friday. You can help your student in many ways:

• Review vocabulary - Ask them about a word they learned that day.
• Newspaper - Your student will receive a Studies Weekly newspaper on Monday. During the week, we will read the articles, analyze and make connections, work the crossword, and complete other graphic organizers or projects as assigned. Ask to see the newspaper and have a conversation about the articles and illustrations.
• Attendance - Students learn best if they are at school every day. If you need to schedule an appointment for your student, please try to make them after school. If that isn't possible, after third period is next best.
