Welcome to Second Grade!

My name is Kristel Holt and this will be my 8th year teaching.  I have taught 4th grade, 3rd grade and 2nd grade.  This will be my first full year teaching at Rancho Sienna Elementary.  It was my privilege to join the Rancho family last Spring.

I have a Masters in Education Administration and Bachelor's in Elementary Education from the University of Mary Hardin-Baylor.  I have always loved learning and it is my joy to return to the classroom after a small break to stay at home with my children when they were young. 

I am married to Travis and we have three boys, Jackson (6th), Matthew (4th), and William (1st).  My boys have all attended Rancho Sienna Elementary and we are proud to be a part of the Rancho family.

In my spare time I enjoy reading, cooking, and exploring the outdoors with my boys.

My heart is to do what is best and right for all kids and to be a safe place where students feel known, loved, valued, and capable of being who they were created to be.

I am looking forward to a great year!
