"Research shows movement increases brain development. I chose the following items to get them up and moving, which will result in improved academic performance. Scooter Boards work on motor planning skills, proximal strength, and provides proprioceptive/deep pressure input. The Foam Pogo Jumper teaches physical skills like hand-to-eye coordination and dexterity, along with strengthening core muscles. Walking Cups improve agility, balance, and coordination. I hope to incorporate all of these items with learning activities in the classroom, as well as during center time and indoor recess."
