As the year comes to an end we have to say goodbye to our lovely seniors. This year was a learning experience for not only the students but they also got a brand new teacher. While there were challenges they stepped up and took the challenge and did a great job.
Our first senior we are saying goodbye to is our editor-in-chief, Jenna Burks. Over this school year, Jenna took on different articles before starting the “Ask Jenna” column. She is always stepping up to the plate to help with other articles and always excited to lead.
Our next senior is our photography editor Marley Kyle. Marley can write a killer article and puts the website together each month with the upcoming beats. She is always eager to get it done and works her hardest. Without Marley this year would have been completely different and she will be deeply missed next year.
Mia Wagner is our next goodbye. She came into our class later but never skipped a beat. She stepped up and took on an editor position and has helped us tremendously. She is always lending a hand to her classmates on their articles and taking on leadership roles every day in class.
Jesse Baldwin has been a wonderful asset to our class. He is always enthusiastic to take on new articles and lend help wherever it is needed.
Austin Freeman stepped up and took on doing senior shout outs most of the year. He got the opportunity to talk to many different seniors and find out their plans for after high school and their most enjoyable part of high school. These provided our team with a fun article that we could rely on.
Our final goodbye is to Dominic Reid-McDaniels. Dominic is an excellent team player and always gets his articles done and turned in on time.
This year has been a learning experience for everyone, but we definitely had lots of fun along the way. Without the seniors it would have been completely different. They worked very hard to get everything done while also making the class so interesting with all their different personalities.
