Easter is the one time of the year that the kids get to go Easter egg hunting. Getting to spend time with your family and friends and sharing a meal and quality time together is a great part of this holiday. Easter is also about getting to know more about your beliefs and why you believe in it, if you celebrate Easter religiously.

Mercedes Hopkins is a senior at Liberty High School who enjoys the Easter holiday. Mercedes stated, “I find it very appealing with all the colorful decorations and the interesting use of plastic eggs.” Mercedes loves to spend time with her family during this holiday, “We usually meet up and have an easter egg hunt for all the younger kids.” Easter is a great time for Mercedes because of the memories made, “I used to not celebrate Easter until my dad remarried and Noe and It means I get to spend time with my family.”

Ben stoops is a senior at liberty high school and enjoys Easter because of the great time spent with the people he cares about. Ben stated, “The family gets together and the great food that we eat; It means a lot to me because it brings the family together.” Ben also appreciates the culture and traditions that his family has every year during this holiday, “We have a big german dinner since my grandmother is full-blooded German and we go to other family dinners.”

Brylee Mae Warren is a senior at liberty high school Brylee loves the Easter holiday and stated. “Easter is actually my favorite Holiday. I enjoy going to church and listening to the service. Usually, after church, we go to my Memaws to eat dinner and color eggs.” Easter means a lot to Brylee Mae Warren and she said ” No matter the age of us grandkids, we still carry the tradition on. Family is very important to me, and I will forever be thankful to enjoy this holiday with people I love”.

Easter is the time where family and friends get together to spend time together and talk about life and their appreciation for each other and their beliefs.
