The Kansas City Chiefs and the Tampa Bay Buccaneers were set to vs. each other in the 2021 super bowl. The Chiefs were coming off of a hot year after winning the super bowl in 2020 and only losing one game in the 2021 regular season to the Los Angeles Raiders. The Chiefs were the favorite coming into the game with a 16-2 record compared to the Buccaneers 14-5 record. In the end the Buccaneers ended up taking the underdog win with an astounding 31-9 win over the Chiefs.
Tanner Ripko has been a chiefs fan his whole life being from the state of Missouri, he was hoping to add to the year prior with yet another super bowl victory. Tanner says “one thing the Chiefs could have done better to win the super bowl would be to stay strong up front, the offensive line got demolished by the buccaneers defense.” Tanner went on to say “I think it was very interesting to see how an old quarterback like Tom Brady would compete against a young quarterback like Patrick Mahomes.
Kaden Daniels was on the other side leaning towards rooting for the buccaneers. “I was going for the Buccaneers, because i am a patriots fan and I wanted to stick with Tom Brady.” said Kaden. Kaden believed the Buccaneers played an all around great game. What he believed won the game for them was this, “The bucs had everything going for them on every aspect possible. Tom going off, their d-line pressuring Mahomes and people making plays when they were very key to secure that dub.”
Tyler Watts loved the atmosphere of two of the league's best quarterbacks facing off. One being considered the greatest ever, and the other being considered the greatest now. He wishes the outcome would have been different as he is a chiefs fan himself. Tyler has kept a positive attitude toward the loss, he says “It was a matchup vs. two of the best quarterbacks in the league as of right now and ever. Tom Brady just happened to come out on top this year.”
The Buccaneers stole the Super Bowl away from the Kansas City Chiefs in bold fashion.
