A New Year's resolution is something that is not widely done. Some people try to achieve their goal, but usually come up short or do nor make one at all. It all just depends on how you were raised or how important it is to you. Many say that sticking to your resolution is one of the hardest things to do. When asked “What does a resolution mean to you?’ Devon Snider of the Freshman class responded with, ”A goal that someone has for the year.” When asked, “Do you think that others should stick to theirs?”
He replied, “Yes, it's a goal they set for themselves and should push to achieve it.”
Resolutions will change depending on the person that you are. Some people are the same and others are completely different. Like sophomore Rhyan Van Horn. He was questioned about what a resolution means to him, he went on to state, “To work on yourself to show how you changed and worked on yourself one year later”. Rhyan Van Horn has always stuck to his resolutions and believes everyone should stick to theirs. Resolutions are not just for yourself but for others as well and to improve the lives of others.
