She was influenced by the fact that women could not vote and had less rights. She wanted to change that. She wanted women to be treated like equals to men. She started to take action and make change. After she passed the right for women to vote was passed thanks to her.She was influenced by slavery because she was against it. Susan B Anthony grew up being taught that not only all that people are equal no matter their gender but also no matter their race. SHe believed this her whole life. She fought for equality for people of color and even worked with Frederick Douglas who was an escaped slave who was trying to make change.

They spoke out together and kept speaking out to fight against slavery. FOur years later the thirteenth amendment was passed and slavery was not allowed. .She was influenced by the low amount of rights that women had. SHe grew up learning vey one was equal. In the world outside of her home she learned not everyone thought that. SHe became a teacher but was fired after speaking out against the unfair wages women had compared to men for the same job. She spoke out and fought against sexism. She worked very hard for equality. She worked until she died allowing women to vote years later.
An economic issue for the North was the lack of food because the south did all the planting. The south grew all the plants also including cotton which the north needed to make clothes. The South struggled because even though they had the supplies the north had the factories to make the supplies useful. The north also had all the trade po wich many anything that was able to be traded couldn't be unless it belonged to the north.
