Attendance Information

Students are required to have 51% of in-person instructional blended learning time for the week. 

2026/2027

Students will be assigned attendance days based on grade level and enrollment.  Staff will contact you with your assigned days the week before school starts. 

Students will attend the entire school day on their assigned days. 

Students arrive to LHS and walk through the screeners.  They then exit through the weight room and walk under the stadium to the Chieftain Center. 

Arrival at the Chieftain Center no later than 7:42 AM

Dismissal from the Chieftain Center no earlier than 2:35 pm

Students have the option to use Logan-Hocking Schools' busing or their own transportation. 

Students using their own transportation (driving their own car) are REQUIRED to buy a parking lot pass from the main office in the high school. 

Students may bring a sack lunch, or the can have a hot lunch provided by the cafeteria.  Lunches are delivered at 11:15 daily.  

Students will be required to complete assigned work on in- person attendance days. 

 On their not-in-person days, they will be required to log in and complete at least one graded assignment for attendance credit. 

All families and students will be required to attend an orientation and sign an attendance contract before courses are unlocked. 

Not following the attendance rules will result in dismissal from the program and truancy filings.
