What are Playdates?
These workshops are designed for Teachers and STEM/STEAM Coordinators with the K-8 student and teacher in mind. Through exploration we look at the ways that the featured kits can encouraging students in the engineering and design process around popular and engaging STEAM kits.
You will experience coding/programming, artistic and engineering design, testing and troubleshooting, and original creative expression. Come join us in our Active Learning Center for a true hands on "playdate." You will have the opportunity to complete guided activities with each of our kits. Participants wishing to run a project with students will have access to a planning/consulting session with a LHRIC coach to develop a plan.
