Parent chaperones are needed for all football games (home and away) and any marching contest or UIL events that the band attends. Duties are very simple: we check students on and off the buses, help carry equipment and such from the buses to the field, and are generally available to help with other tasks as needed.
You will stay with the band in the bleachers during the entire event. If it is a full-day marching contest, you also stay with the band when they go to eat, etc. Chaperoning is a great way to get to know some of our wonderful band students and you really feel a part of the event and our band.

We are the team of volunteers that help the band every game and competition. We help with building props, load/unload the trailer, move equipment on and off the field, and whatever else the directors may need from us. We assist the band at all performances during the marching season (football games, contests, public performances, etc). Both women and men of all ages and strength are welcome to join our Panther Band Moving Co. Some things do require strength but a lot of things just require pushing around.
Helps bring the artistic vision of the show to life. Directors need help building and maintaining props (stages, backdrops, floors, etc...) to be used during the performances.

Our uniform crew does an amazing job outfitting all the students with uniforms. Uniform Committee does fittings, hanging, restocking, making alterations, and WASHING. If you have any sewing skills or are just willing to help, then they would be most grateful for any help you can spare. We need lots of people and sewing is not necessary for most of our jobs. This is a fairly flexible job time-wise.
This is a great volunteer opportunity if you pick up your students, as you get to help out while you would be waiting for your student anyway. It’s also a fun way to get to know your students fellow band members!

We would really love to have a team of photographers/ videographers on the field for great close-ups as well higher up for an overview. If you love taking photos and/or videos reach out... we need you!

At many band events the kids will be fed (multiple times a day on the long contest days). This means we need adult volunteers to help pick food up and get it back to our location. It's a super easy job, but VERY important. Our Snack Crew keeps the busses stocked with snacks for our ride home.

We have a lot of kids getting ready at the same time, and can really use help with hair and make-up. We need extra help with our color guard kids as they have more detailed hair and make-up needs.
