Nebraska Fur Harvester Scholarship - Nebraska Fur Harvesters is a small association that values wildlife management, conservation, and "wise, sustainable use" of wildlife in the state. We annually offer a small scholarship to encourage any youth who hope to have a college degree/career that will, in most any imaginable way, have a bearing on the future of wildlife management in the state. We recognize that this opportunity is "not for everyone" so to speak, but we hope to target most any graduating senior who hopes to become involved in a career that is related (in most any way) to wildlife management in general, and furbearer management in particular. Often highly qualified and highly aspiring youth who are just a bit off the norm, find that their goals and aspirations are not encouraged. We hope that our small token scholarship might help those students. Clearly, the financial boost is tiny in comparison to the costs, etc.; our hope is that what little we do contribute can be part of the "encouragement package" in general and maybe a good boost in particular to a young person who may not be Valedictorian material...but simply a quality individual. For more information and the application, CLICK HERE. Application due APRIL 1st!

RHOP - Rural communities make up a majority of Nebraska. They are the lifeblood of the state and deserve quality medical care. As a citizen of rural Nebraska, you've experienced the rural lifestyle, and you know the unique needs of your community. That's why we're recruiting Nebraskans like you - because you're dedicated to your home state and you care about its rural health care needs. We do, too. Our program represents that commitment and will prepare you to return to rural Nebraska and care for its citizens.
