UNMC Backstage Pass – Omaha - Wednesday, November 4, 2026 | 9 a.m.–12 p.m. | UNMC Omaha Campus UNMC Backstage Pass gives high school students interested in health care a behind-the-scenes look at health professions through hands-on activities and conversations with professionals. Curious about a career working in Behavioral Health (Drug & Alcohol Counseling, Human Services, Social Science, Social Work) or Education & Early Childhood (Education – Elementary, Secondary, & Paraprofessional, Early Childhood Education)? Register for this day by talking with Mrs. Woodall. Seniors attending will have the opportunity to win a $1,000 tuition waiver from Northeast! THIS REQUIRES A COLLEGE VISIT FORM FOR YOUR ABSENCE. EXPERIENCE NORTHEAST - Health Sciences is Thursday, September 3, 2026, from 9:00 am – 12:30 pm in the Lifelong Learning Center on Northeast Community College's Campus. Lunch is provided! Do you like helping others? This day is packed full of activities, guiding you to the right program for you! Students will tour the facilities and meet with faculty from the following programs: Allied Health – Nurse Aide & Medication Aide, EMT/Paramedic, Health Information Management Systems, Health, Physical Education, & Recreation, Nursing, and Physical Therapist Assistant. Seniors attending will have the opportunity to win a $1,000 tuition waiver from Northeast!
RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards) - RYLA is a free, 48-hour leadership experience for high school students in grades 9–12, held October 2–4, 2026, at Camp Calvin Crest in Fremont, Nebraska. Students will build leadership skills, make new connections, and have fun through an engaging weekend experience.
