'We're at a pivotal point in the Trust where we've developed our technology strategy more clearly over the past two years, and now we're in a position where we can start to review how we use technology more effectively in the classroom. We've been looking and using the tools of the LGfL PedTech resource. Where we have schools buying new resources such as one school has recently bought a set of iPads, we support those schools in ensuring that they are considered how they're used with the pupils and that they're used effectively.'

'The DTT tool helped us to structure and identify areas in which perhaps we wouldn't have ordinarily considered. The audit tool really brought aspects to our attention, such as the teaching and learning requirements and our wish to further enhance the opportunities for our children.

And of course,the DTT will be an annual evaluation process for us now because we want to be able to see the impact of the work that we have done in order to improve the outcomes for our children and for our staff.'

'So when I was looking through the questions of the Digital Transformation Toolkit, I could instantly see the impact it would have on our schools.

It would be able to benchmark our schools as to where they were currently positioned. I thought had a good understanding of where some of this may be already, but there were definitely areas that I hadn't been able to discuss previously and weren't part of conversations in the past. So it gave me a bigger picture of what was happening in schools. It also led me to find good practice I may not have necessarily seen before from my day to day job, but then bits that I would like to now highlight as a result of doing the transformation toolkit.'
