What Matters
Each area of learning and experience contains statements of what matters which shape learning for all children. These statements help our children think about what they’re learning and how our topics link to each other. The statements also support our pupils to progress each year as they build upon their understanding and skills.
Assessment
Assessment will be part of our children’s learning every day. They will work with their teachers to understand how well they’re doing. This is important to help them see where they are in their learning, plan their next learning steps, spot extra support they need which will help their teacher, find ways to challenge them and see how well pupils are doing.
Cross Curricular
Our curriculum at Llanilltud Faerdref ensures that our children develop high levels of competence in literacy, numeracy and DCF and have frequent opportunities to develop, extend and apply them across the curriculum.
