Genre Writing

Here are some resources  to help you remember the 3 genres of writing: Narrative, Informational, and Opinion

Narrative Writing- when you tell a story. You create characters, dialogue, problems, and resolutions- take your characters on an epic adventure! Or, you could write a personal narrative, something that happened to you. 

Opinion Writing- when you share your opinion about a topic. Your opinion is supported by a reason and evidence. 

Informational Writing- when you share factual information about a topic.
