This is Mr. McCoy and I . We have been married 26 years in December. We have three children together. Mr. McCoy works here at LFCA as our Middle School Steam teacher of Science. He also assist Mrs. Gathof in technology.
This is my oldest daughter Cassandra also known as "Cassy" to everyone at LFCA. She is with my oldest grandson Quinn. Quinn was four when this picture was taken. Cassy is an alumni of LFCA. She is 30 years old. She works at Wurth as a rental and services and service-solution operations support.
This is a picture of both of my grandboys playing at their Nana's house with their bed head. 🤣
This is my second-born daughter, Kendra Ly-Hughes. She is 27 years old. She is married to Sergeant Malikhi Ly-Hughes. He serves our country in Okinawa, Japan in satellite communication. Kendra is waiting for her husband to join her here at home after a long stay in Japan.. Please pray for them. Kendra used to work at LFCA in God Rock Cafe where she was Kitchen Manager from 2017-2018. Kendra is an alumnus of LFCA. We just celebrated their first child's birthday who turned one years old, Elias Reed. He was born July 17th in Japan.
Veronica, also known as "Mickie" to most at LFCA is 24 years old. She is also an alumnus of LFCA. She discovered her passion for reading at LFCA under her language teacher Mr. Chris Driscoll. She is now employed at Dollar Tree in Taylorsville Kentucky. She lives in Taylorsville, Kentucky, and enjoys crocheting and reading! I tease her that she is my little old lady. :) She is expecting her first child in October of this year. We are excited to have another grandbaby.

These are our family's pets.
Maggie is our dog. She is 13 years old and weighs 120 pounds. She is an Alaskan Husky and Shepherd mix. She is super lovable but she does suffer from Cushing's disease and it causes her to gain weight along with many other things. Even though she has this disease it does not keep her down in personality. She thinks she is a lap dog and is so lovable to all she meets. She likes to welcome you with hugs right between your legs when you come to see her, and as all dogs do she wants you to pet her all the time. She does not like the heat and will stay in the house all day as long as it is hot outside. Maggie is very serious about going to bed! Not only is she serious about going to bed but she wants to go to bed with me! As soon as I get home in the evening she is trying to get me in the bed so we can snuggle. Maggie also loves snow!! She will play for hours in the snow and go out in an ice storm just for fun. We were kindred spirits from the moment I met her because I LOVE snow too and the snow days that come with it. Maggie is showing her age these days but her loving spirit is still in there. She just sleeps way more than she plays these days.
Mac is our newest addition to the family. Mr. McCoy went to pick up Mac two years ago while I did Kindergarten graduation! Mac is a 3-year-old Labradoodle weighing in 80 pounds. She loves Maggie with everything she has! Maggie does not feel the same way because she is old and grouchy. LOL! Mac is a snuggle bug. She is not happy unless she is lying on me or beside me. She must touch me at all times. She loves water! We keep a kiddie pool in the backyard for her as her water bowl because she likes to tip over normal water bowls. She drinks and plays in the kiddie pool. Sometimes he will go swimming with my oldest Grandson, Quinn. Also, Mac LIVES to play fetch! He is great at retrieving. If you sit, he is up in your business trying to get you to play ball or throw one of his toys. He will wear you out with this task!!!
The next little fellow in Mickie's hair and Mr. McCoy's shoulder is our bird, Nico. He is a Cockatiel. Nico was Mickie's pet when she was living at home. We have adopted him as our own now that Mr. McCoy and I are empty nesters. He has taken to Mr. McCoy. They fuss at each other daily. :) He is very talkative. He says, "I love you," "Whatcha doing?", and "I'm Nico." He whistles when he thinks you are lookin' good. He loves to play peek-a-boo with a blanket and asks to play the game often. He likes to watch the old shows that are on TV. His favorite show is Andy Griffith because he can whistle to tune at the beginning of the show. He has recently learned to pull his food into his cage if Don takes too long to feed him and give the food back. Nico even gives you kisses, if he likes you! He is all around a super cool bird.
