Meet the Teacher

about me:

Hi, My name is Hannah Gipson! This is my 4rd year teaching at LFCA and I am so excited to be teaching middle school Social Studies, STEAM Performing Arts, 8th grade Bible and 8th grade homeroom! Along with these subjects, I am passionate about the arts (dance, music, visual arts, and theatre) and excited to incorporate my background in those while teaching this year! I am also the coach for the "Lionettes", our Cheer and Dance team at LFCA. I have a bachelors degree from Morehead State University and also participated in the Disney College Program in Fall 2019.

I am blessed to spend the school year teaching and encouraging the students and sharing the good news of Jesus with them! God is good!

College: Morehead State University bachelors of Strategic Communication, focus in International Studies and Public Relations, minor in Dance (Go Eagles!)

Fun places I've worked: Walt Disney World Entertainment Cast Member, Louisville Zoo Event Planner, Little Flock Baptist Church Girls Ministry Director, Universal Dance Association Summer Staff and Competition Staff! I have also choreographed 4 musical productions and have been part of a profession dance company.
