Kathy DeJesus

Kathy is very excited to be a part of Peter/Wendy at Leyden Theatre. She has worked on 5 past shows at Leyden with Don Quixote being the most recent.  This show allowed her to meet new members of theatre and cooperate with them to create new unforgetable memories. She wants to thank her costar Gabby and director Ms. Sadowski for always supporting her during rehearsals.

Gabriela Drozd

Gabriela has never been more excited to play a role. This will be her first leading role on the Leyden Stage. She's honored to be apart of such an imaginative show with such an amazing cast and crew. Gabriela has also been apart of the crew of Sponge Bob the Musical and Don Quixote, and a supporting cast member of Wave and Jenny Kiss Me.  She is East Leyden Theater Guild's Vice President. She participants in Future Business Leaders of America and National Honor Society.

Mars is excited to play Tink in this year's fall play. This is Mars' 3rd performance on the Leyden stage, but this is the first time that Mars has had a main role and has been involved in a theater production outside of the musicals. Mars has found the production process very fun and has enjoyed making memories with the cast. Mars is looking forward to a year full of entertaining shows and getting more involved in the theater community.

This is Julio's first time on the Leyden stage and also his first year at Leyden High School. He's joyful for this huge opportunity but, frankly, also a little nervous. Julio feels that the stage is a magical place where you can live many stories and relax when you need it most. Music is one of his passions and his goals are to recreate "Heathers: The Musical" and make new friends with this experience. :)!!

This is Jess’s second time on the Leyden stage and she is very excited and very stressed to be on stage!  She is very happy to be in theater again and to be around people she loves.  Jess likes how being on stage allows her to feel like a different person then when she is off stage.

Alexander is excited to be doing theater again, especially in this role. Since his first year in theater, his goal has been to play a villain. So when he was presented with the role of Captain Hook, you can imagine the excitement that he felt, and has been feeling every everyday at rehearsal. Alexander has been part of many shows including  Little Shop of Horrors, The Odd Couple, Don Quixote and is proud to say he now can add Peter/Wendy to that list. He'd like to thank his friends and family for always supporting him and hopes you enjoy the show!

Jaylian Figueroa

This is Jaylian's second show at Leyden High School. He is a part of the West Leyden High School Choir and the Leyden Theater Team.  At first, Jaylian was rather uncomfortable getting up on stage, but as time went on, he managed to get more and more comfortable with the stage.  Now being in Peter/Wendy, Jaylian is very much relaxed standing on the great stage of West Leyden High School. Currently, he is looking very forward to being featured in future shows, and has found theater to be his new hobby, turning it into something in which he would like to continue as he grows older. His dream is to be cast in a musical.

Evi is delighted to be in her first show on Leyden Stage!  She has been in theater at Maywood Fine Arts for about 5 years until she heard Leyden had a theater program and wanted to join as soon as she heard. This show has helped her learn a lot more about being on the big stage with lights, sets, and an amazing crew!  Being in this community has also helped her meet new people and shown her how to be a better actor.  Evi believes that theater takes a lot of hard work to make a great production. She is looking forward to future shows and hopes you enjoy Peter/Wendy!

This is Katya's first time being a part of the Leyden theatre community. She is excited and enthusiastic to make her premiere on the Leyden stage. Katya has been a part of several musicals from Rhodes Elementary School, but has never acted in a play. The musicals include Frozen Jr., Moana Jr., and the Little Mermaid Jr. She has always been passionate about acting since the beginning.  Katya looks forward to continuing in the Leyden theatre program in the future.

Mari is a junior at West Leyden High School and is excited to start the Leyden Theater Company's season with the amazing cast of Peter/Wendy! She has been doing theater since her freshman year and is happy to be part of the first show of the year. She has been in other Leyden productions such as Frozen Jr. and the Odd Couple. She hopes you enjoy the show, and the rest of the productions this year!

Crystal is enthusiastic to be back at Leyden Theater for the second year. This is Crystal's fourth show at West leyden, and she's thrilled to be apart of the Peter/Wendy crew. She's done various shows, her first being the 2022 winter show, The Internet's a Distraction, working on the set of Spongebob  the Musical, and Theatro Leyden's Don Quioxte. Much dedication has been put into this production, and she's ready to share it with the rest of you!

This is Gabriela’s second time performing at Leyden and she has never been so excited to perform. Gabriela thinks that dedication and hard work is key to a successful show.  Last year she did Don Quijote with Teatro Leyden and she fell in love with the Leyden Theater Company.  Gabriela plans to perform in every show she can for the rest of her time at East Leyden.

Isabel is a sophomore at West Leyden High School, and has been doing theater since her freshman year.  As master electrician, she feels she is being put to work at a level that is challenging but also very educational. She feels this role will help her grow as a technician and give her skills to do better as she progresses through her theater career at Leyden.

This is Ray's first show with Leyden Theater. After a strong leading role with their last middle school musical, they've returned to doing technical work. They've spent the last several weeks screwing things together and climbing into who-knows-where to find the props! Outside of the theater, Ray loves photography and making jewelry. Ray is looking forwards to doing many more shows here at Leyden! :)

This is Wiktoria's first year in a Leyden production. After two strong years of performing on stage, and her last being a lead, she decided to try being a lighting director. Working in the shop these past few weeks, she has been going from working in the shop to other extracurricular activities, like Leyden's very own Marching Band/Color Guard. Outside of school activities, she does Polish School and snowboards during the winter.  She looks forward to being in more productions, maybe even acting in them.

Eliza is a sophomore at West Leyden, and this is her first show. She's really enjoyed working with lighting and helping put the set together. She hopes to continue to work with the cast and crew for many more shows in the theater. She recommends trying new things, even when you're unfamiliar with them; you might just find yourself having fun!
