Middle School Physical Education: Develop fundamental motor skills, teamwork, and a lifelong appreciation for physical activity through a variety of sports and fitness activities.
Middle School Health: This course introduces students to the knowledge and practical skills needed to maintain lifelong physical, mental, emotional, and social wellness. Students explore healthy decision-making, personal responsibility, disease prevention, nutrition, safety, healthy relationships, and human development while developing critical thinking and communication skills.
High School Physical Education: Advance physical fitness, sportsmanship, and personal wellness through challenging physical activities and health education.
Course Description:
Middle School Physical Education is designed to develop students’ physical fitness, motor skills, and knowledge of health-related concepts. Through a variety of activities, students will learn the importance of physical activity for lifelong wellness. Emphasis will be placed on developing fundamental movement skills, teamwork, cooperation, and sportsmanship.

High School Physical Education focuses on providing students with the knowledge and skills necessary for a lifetime of physical activity. The course will emphasize the development of personal fitness plans, understanding health-related fitness components, and participating in a variety of physical activities. Students will learn about the benefits of regular exercise, nutrition, and the prevention of injuries.
