1.  Students will participate in activities that will reinforce state
      standards.  

2.  Students will be assigned labs and activities in which they are
      expected to be more self-directed. They will be held
      accountable for making observations, recording data, analyzing
      results, and drawing conclusions. 

3.  Cooperative groups and  interactive pairing will often be
      implemented digitally or virtually during class and at home.
      Students are expected to share findings with group members
      when making observations, recording data, analyzing results,
      and developing conclusions.  When appropriate, members of
      lab groups are expected to report conclusions to the entire
      class.  Teamwork is a key component of this classroom.

Grades will be updated routinely and parents are invited to monitor student progress through Parent Portal or by contacting me via email, or through a phone call or conference.  Please make sure all contact information is correct in our Parent Portal system.
