I am originally from Oklahoma City, OK and moved to South Carolina in 2015. I recently married my husband, Cody, and we have two wonderful dogs, Remi and Benzie.  We also have a hamster named Martin, but he spends most of his time in our classroom. 

When I am not teaching you can find me running or watching Netflix! I am currently training to run my first half marathon in October.  I am also a certified sailing instructor. In the summer you can find me in Northern Michigan as the Director of a Sailing School. 

This is my sixth year of teaching. Before teaching third grade I taught second and fourth grade. However, I have loved everything third grade.
