Does it cost anything to participate in athletics?
Implementation of athletic programming can be very expensive. The district puts a priority on funding athletic programming, however we do have a Athletic Participation Fee to offset some of those costs. You can see details on concerning that fee HERE.
Can my homeschooler participate in athletics?
A student who is homeschooled may participate in athletics at the school their physical home address is zoned for if they meet all the requirements in South Carolina Code of Laws Section 59-63-100. Can my student who attends a public charter school participate in athletics?
A student who attends a public charter school may participate in athletics at the school their physical home address is zoned for if they meet all the requirements in South Carolina Code of Laws Section 59-63-100. Can my student who attends a private school participate in athletics?
Yes, they are allowed to participate for the school they are zoned to attend provided the private school does not offer the sport.
