Welcome to PLTW Medical Detectives, where science meets investigation! In this hands-on course, students become medical detectives as they solve realistic medical mysteries using evidence, observation, and critical thinking. Throughout the year, we will investigate diseases, analyze patient data, explore human body systems, examine laboratory results, and use the scientific method to diagnose illnesses and injuries.
Students will develop valuable skills in collaboration, communication, problem-solving, and scientific reasoning while exploring exciting careers in healthcare and biomedical science. Our classroom emphasizes curiosity, teamwork, and learning through engaging, real-world investigations.
