Hi there! 

My name is Jack Apple, and I am thrilled to be the 6th-grade school counselor this year at Irmo Middle School :) 

I'm a counselor by profession, but I'm also many other things. I'm a "wannabe" florist, a proud uncle to many, a self-taught cook, and a newcomer to the world of birding. I love being creative and enjoy making things with my hands, whether that's arranging flowers, caring for plants, or dabbling in watercolor. I am also a dog (Bentley, Delilah, & Samson) and cat (Louie, Skene, & Mila) dad, and we call them the Apple Zoo :) 

At my core, I believe every person deserves to feel seen, valued, and accepted. I strive to create spaces where people feel safe to be themselves, take healthy risks, learn from mistakes, and grow into the people they are becoming.

I am passionate about advocating for children and supporting others through life's challenges. Above all else, I try every day to lead with kindness. I believe that when people know they belong and are cared for, they are empowered to grow, build confidence, and discover their strengths.

I am excited to get to know each of you, and look forward to an amazing school year together!
