Magnet Schools of America Awards
Magnet School of Distinction Awards are given to only a select group of magnet schools that have demonstrated high levels of excellence. Magnet Schools of America’s National Merit Awards program honors the top magnet schools in the United States. These awards recognize magnet schools that demonstrate commitment to high academic standards, curriculum innovation, successful desegregation and diversity efforts, and consistent delivery of high quality educational services to all stakeholders.
Magnet School of America Certified Demonstration School Magnet Schools of America has awarded Spring Hill High School as a Certified Demonstration School. This certification recognizes magnet schools that provide high quality, innovative educational options to families and students that promote choice, diversity, and academic excellence. There are only 112 Certified Demonstation Schools nationwide.
Certified National Magnet School demonstrate innovative curriculum and professional development, academic excellence, high quality instructional systems, diversity, and family/community partnerships.

College Board AP Honor Roll Awards
The AP School Honor Roll recognizes schools whose AP programs are delivering results for students while broadening access. Schools can earn this recognition annually based on criteria that reflect a commitment to increasing college-going culture, providing opportunities for students to earn college credit, and maximizing college readiness.
The AP School Honor Roll also recognizes Spring Hill Highs School as providing all students the chance to participate in AP, including students of underrepresented populations.
Palmetto's Finest is awarded by the South Carolina School Association of School Administrators to recognize schools which offer excellent instruction and outstanding leaders, augmented by strong family and community involvement.
