First Nine Weeks

The first nine weeks will take us waaaaaay back and bring us much closer to where we are now.

You will learn that we are not so different than our early ancestors- except that we have air conditioning-haha!

We will learn about the Early River Civilizations of Mesopotamia, Indus and China ( I might mention the Nile as well)! We will explore the common themes that helped them thrive and become civilizations: religion, government, trade systems, achievements. We will research influential people and significant land growth (wars). 

Then, We will move into and tie in the Classical Ages of China and India as well as Ancient Rome and Greece which are better known as Classical Civilizations. So much happened during these time periods- but it was all made possible by the civilizations that came before them!
