All course information for students is provided through Google Classroom. Teachers will add students to their Google Classroom.
Parents/guardians cannot join Google Classrooms. However, they may receive daily or weekly summaries from Google Classroom. Contact any teacher to have your email enrolled for these summaries. For more information, see Google's Help article on Classroom Guardian Summaries.
Students will complete an Interactive Notebook (INB) throughout the school year, with separate sections for each topic covered in each unit. These INBs will be kept in students’ science binders and will include notes, labs, review activities, and simulations. For added organization and support, I will also provide a digital copy of the INB through Google Classroom. This will allow students to review notes they may have missed, access materials from home, and refer back to previous sections when they have questions. The majority of students’ science work will be found in either their INB or Google Classroom throughout the school year.
All students enrolled in a science course will be participating in science fair this year. Students will work in groups and complete their project in class.
