The upcoming school year will be my fourth year teaching.

I earned my degree in Early Childhood Education from USC. I did my student teaching here at IES in 4K Excel (this is when I fell in love with 4K!) and in 2nd grade before I was hired here as a Kindergarten teacher. I taught Kindergarten for a year before moving to 4K--also known as my happy place! 4K is truly an amazing and transformative year full of love, growth, excitement, and learning! 

IES is truly remarkable; the passionate educators that work here, along with all of the AMAZING, wonderful, and precious students that attend this school, make it the best place to “bee"! I hope that whenever you walk through the doors of our school, the joy and love that fill the halls and our classroom is so evident. 

I believe wholeheartedly in play-based learning and exploration. As teachers of young learners, our goal is to foster a love of learning in a nurturing environment where every child can thrive. Students need to feel safe, loved, and supported in order to learn and grow! 

We also believe that a strong home-school connection best supports students through their educational experiences. My job is to love your children, keep them safe, support them as they learn and grow, and partner with you to accomplish these goals!
