To showcase the creativity, voice, and vision of student filmmakers from Lexington and surrounding communities by building a regional network of youth storytellers through the power of film and media. This festival celebrates the unique perspectives, lived experiences, and artistic expression of young creators, amplifying student voices that too often go unheard. Through diverse categories and inclusive participation, we aim to empower students to explore identity, community, and social issues while developing confidence as media makers and changemakers.
This festival amplifies authentic student perspectives and encourages young creators to explore identity, community, and the world around them, challenging dominant narratives and reimagining what stories get told, and by whom.
