We are accepting 30 second to 7 minute short films created independently by students in Massachusetts schools, grades 6-12. Please keep submissions to a maximum PG-13 maturity level, and handle serious topics with care, providing content warnings so that Re:Frame remains a safe and positive environment for all attendees. You must disclose the use of generative AI at any point in the creation process of your films. We retain the right to pull any submission if we suspect inappropriate AI use, or plagiarism. My film is between 30 seconds and 7 minutes long (based on category).
My film is PG–13 or below.
I have included content warnings in the submission form AND before the title card for any required topics.
All visuals, music, and writing are original OR used under fair use, public domain, or with permission/license.
I have created a Works Cited document in MLA format (if needed).
My end credits name any borrowed material and its creator.
If I used AI-generated images, video, or dialogue, I have:
Disclosed it in the submission form.
Included a note in the film or in the credits.
Submitted the exact prompt(s) I used.
My film is complete, with titles and credits.
All required forms and files are ready to upload.
