Children's Community Chorus is a non-auditioned choral ensemble for singers entering Grades 4 and 5 in the 2025-2026 school year. Please note: you do NOT have to be a Lexington resident to be a CCC singer - it's all about creating music as a community!
During our weekly rehearsals, CCC singers collaborate as a music community, developing their skills in choral music reading, listening, and, of course, singing!
CCC singers participate in two scheduled concerts - a Winter Concert in January and a Spring Concert in May. As CCC is a part of our Lexington Community, we receive invitations to perform at various community events. Such events have included CAAL’s Lunar New Year Gala and the New Legacy Cultural Center's Lantern Festival, the LexSeeHer Monument Dedication Ceremony, and the Lex250 Celebrations “Parker’s Prelude” Festival. Most recently, CCC was invited to perform at the Lex250 Battle Green Rededication Ceremony - and this was a huge honor to perform in front of thousands of people and on live television!
We anticipate that extra performance dates will be added to our 2025-2026 calendar!
