Behavior
Students are expected to act responsibly, respect the rights of others, and be productive while in the Library. In order to protect and maintain resources, food and drink is prohibited.
Circulation
Students may check out up to five items with a valid White Knoll High School ID card. All materials checked out to a patron will become the responsibility of the patron in all circumstances; do not check out material for other patrons.
Fiction or non-fiction books may be checked out for 14 school days.
Audio books may be checked out for 14 school days.
DVDs may be checked out for 3 days.
eBooks and digital audio books can be found on the Sora app in the Lexington One Launchpad
Fees
Fees are charged to students for lost items. There are no late fines for overdue items.
Computer Access
There are several Microsoft Lenovo laptops available for student use while in the Library. Students must follow the district Technology Acceptable Use Policy. Black and white printing is free to students.
White Knoll High School is a comprehensive, four-year high school, grades 9-12, accredited by the Southern Association of Colleges and Schools and the South Carolina Department of Education. Located in the Red Bank community of Lexington County, South Carolina, WKHS opened its doors to its Timberwolves August of 2000 with an enrollment of about 1300 students.
