South Carolina Book Award Program

Students in grades 2-5 will be participating in our SC Book Award Program.  This program is sponsored by the South Carolina Association of School Librarians.  Grades 2 and 3 will participate in the Picture Book Award Program and Grades 4-5 will participate in the Children's Book Award Program.  Each year 20 new books are selected for the awards nominee list and then those students who have read or had read to them at least 5 of the books from the list will be eligible to vote for the nominee they feel deserves to win the SC Book award in their voting category!  Participation in the SC Book Award Program is voluntary, but I hope that all students will choose to participate!  

First grade students will participate in the SC Book Award Program during their scheduled library times throughout the school year.
